By Mike Bickle/Getty Images Amazon Prime has been selling for years, but now that the service is getting a lot more popular, the company is making some moves to help it get back on track.
In a blog post published Wednesday, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos wrote that “as a nation, we have a responsibility to ensure that Amazon is providing its users with the best possible service.”
While there is no official word on what exactly will be included in the service’s subscription package, the list of items on the company’s website includes a range of items that are generally available on Amazon’s site for $9.99 per month.
Those include items like video game consoles and games, movies and television shows, and movies, books, music, and accessories.
The new service will also include video game rentals, books and music, movies, and music video services.
It will also bring together new streaming video services like Netflix and YouTube, along with new video games.
The company is also announcing that its Prime Music service will be updated to include additional music titles.
