In a new book, journalist and pundit Ed Henry says his election as president would have been different if his wife had never gone missing in her car in California in 2012.
“She’s one of the most beloved people in America,” Henry said.
“We had a huge outpouring of support from the public for her, and that was something we would never have imagined.”
We were in mourning when she died.
It was the most difficult moment in our lives.
It’s been a big blow to the country.
“But I believe that it was her passion for the country that brought me to the White House.”
